Broadcaster Kim Suk was captivated by a villa that once belonged to the late comedian Lee Ju-il.
The second installment of the Jeju Island group property tour aired Thursday on MBC's entertainment program "Guhae Jwo! Homes" ("Save Me! Holmes").
Earlier in the episode, Yang Se-hyung's team went on a practical, budget-focused tour while Kim Dae-ho's team chose a more romantic route, cruising in a sports car in search of properties unique to Jeju.
Kim Dae-ho's team arrived at a seaside villa in Bomok-dong, Seogwipo — a property that had once served as the personal retreat of the late comedian Lee Ju-il and had since changed hands before coming back onto the market.
Kim Suk toured the interior and could barely contain her enthusiasm. "It looks like the Lake Como house I saw when I went property-hunting in Italy," she said. "I want this house so badly."
The property features a waterfall path inside the grounds, and a hillside trail behind the house leads to a pavilion with 360-degree floor-to-ceiling windows commanding sweeping views. "I bet it's incredible when it rains," Kim Dae-ho said, drawing nods of agreement. The property sits on a 486-square-meter lot and is listed at around 1.2 billion won ($896,000).
After wrapping up the tour, Kim Dae-ho's team held a tribute performance in the villa's courtyard in memory of the late Lee Ju-il, leaving viewers with a warm impression.
