Six affiliates to present AI, autonomous driving and smart logistics solutions
Lotte will participate in the Japan Mobility Show Biz Week 2026, held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, from Tuesday through Friday, to showcase the group's next-generation mobility value chain.
Six affiliates will take part: Lotte Chemical, Lotte Energy Materials, Lotte Infracell, Lotte Innovate, Lotte Global Logistics and Lotte Rental. Together they will present next-generation mobility businesses spanning materials, AI, autonomous driving and smart logistics.
Lotte made its debut at the Japan Mobility Show 2025 last year, highlighting its eco-friendly energy-based future mobility businesses and technological capabilities. This year, the group is focusing on identifying concrete collaboration opportunities between its affiliates and global companies.
The Lotte pavilion will be organized around the concept of "L.MoVE," which stands for "L.Mobility Value Enabler."
Lotte Chemical will present flame-retardant, lightweight and recycled materials alongside paint-free design materials. Lotte Infracell and Lotte Energy Materials will exhibit cathode foil, coated foil and copper foil for electric vehicle batteries. Lotte Innovate will showcase autonomous driving mobility services, AI-based smart tolling and a next-generation cooperative intelligent transport system, or C-ITS.
Lotte Global Logistics will present its strategy for building a future logistics system based on eco-friendly and unmanned technologies, including hydrogen freight trucks, autonomous freight vehicles and automated loading and unloading systems. Lotte Rental plans to announce its entry into the Okinawa market in Japan, leading with a digital short-term car rental model featuring contactless check-in and unmanned key boxes.
"We will expand global partnerships on the strength of each affiliate's technology and business capabilities, and identify new growth opportunities in the future mobility sector," a Lotte official said.
