35 companies to participate, with on-site hiring interviews
Online recruitment center to run through Dec. 31
Paju will hold the 2026 Paju Job Fair at the Geumchon Multipurpose Gymnasium from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 22.
Thirty-five companies will take part in on-site hiring interviews, offering positions across a range of fields including production, logistics, service, management, research, sales, maintenance, nursing and radiology.
A pre-event lecture for job seekers will begin at 1 p.m., an hour before the main program. Running for 40 minutes, the session will cover strategies for both traditional and AI-based interviews — including how to structure a one-minute self-introduction, how to answer questions about motivation and career goals, and tips for preparing for and responding in AI interview formats.
A range of additional programs will be available to help attendees with their job search. Organizers will convert photos taken at the venue into formal interview portraits suitable for resumes, and will also offer a service that transforms handwritten resumes into printable documents.
Other hands-on offerings include resume editing, interview coaching, career counseling, fingerprint-based aptitude testing, hair and makeup services, and a workplace stress assessment.
An online recruitment center will also open for those unable to attend in person or seeking additional hiring information. The online center will operate through Dec. 31, with 13 companies recruiting for positions in production, logistics, caregiving, nursing, membership management and machine operation.
Paju Mayor Son Bae-chan said the fair was designed to give job seekers immediate, practical tools alongside on-site interviews across a wide range of fields. "We hope residents looking for work will find positions that suit them, and that this opportunity leads to real employment," he said.
