Automaker showcases sweeping electrification lineup under 'Future Ready' strategy
Renault Group sets up dedicated exhibition spaces for Renault, Dacia and Alpine brands
Renault announced Tuesday that it is participating in the 2026 Paris Motor Show, running through Sunday (local time) in Paris, with a 2,500-square-meter exhibition space where it is presenting a range of electric vehicle models under its medium- to long-term innovation strategy, "Future Ready."
Now in its 91st edition, the Paris Motor Show traces its origins to 1898, making it one of the oldest automotive exhibitions in the world. This year, more than 100 companies — including over 60 global automakers — are taking part, showcasing new models, concept cars and future mobility technology across a combined indoor and outdoor exhibition space of 85,000 square meters.
Renault made the global debut of the Renault E-Space Concept at the show. A modern reinterpretation of the Renault Espace launched in 1984, the concept reflects the brand's core values of human-centered innovation and in-car experience. Built on the brand philosophy of "a car for everyday life," it combines design with practical technology, and the company says it points the way toward the future family car through a spacious interior and a relaxed atmosphere.
Renault is also displaying two concept cars that reinterpret its heritage for a modern era. The Renault 8 Gordini Concept reimagines the Renault 8 Gordini — an icon of French motorsport in the 1960s — as a two-seat, pure-electric coupe. The Renault 4 JP4X4 Concept is an outdoor-themed concept car built on the Renault 4 E-Tech Electric platform.
Also on display are several other electric models, including the Renault 5 Turbo 3E, an electric sports car reinterpreting the legendary hot-hatch of the 1980s, and the New Renault Trafic Van E-Tech Electric, named "2027 International Van of the Year."
Renault Brand CEO Fabrice Cambolive said at a press conference Monday that the company has "consistently introduced innovative electric vehicle models based on the philosophy of a car for everyday life" and has built "a competitive product lineup in key segments centered on electric vehicles and hybrids." He added that Renault would continue to offer customers "longer range, greater efficiency, competitive prices, enhanced connectivity and more driving pleasure through new model launches and improvements to existing models."
Renault Group is participating in the Paris Motor Show with several of its major brands, including Renault, Dacia and high-performance sports car brand Alpine, each showcasing their respective products and technologies. The "Renault Pro+" space, dedicated to light commercial vehicles, features electric commercial vehicles and a range of special-purpose models, with a separate exhibition area developed in collaboration with the fire department.
Meanwhile, Renault Group announced its Future Ready strategy in March, outlining plans to launch 36 new models by 2030 — primarily electric vehicles — and to raise the share of sales outside Europe to 50 percent by moving beyond its Europe-centric structure and leveraging key markets including South Korea.
