Domino's Pizza unveils new design for 'Party Car' after 19 years and 70,000 pies shared

Domino's Pizza announced Tuesday it has unveiled a new design for its "Party Car," a mobile pizza-manufacturing vehicle that has been delivering freshly baked pizzas to communities across the country.

The new design features the slogan "Party Car on the move, sharing joy" along with a smile emoticon. Since its launch in 2008, the vehicle has traveled about 550,000 kilometers — the equivalent of 16 trips around the Earth — distributing roughly 70,000 pizzas to approximately 280,000 customers. Those figures were incorporated as design elements on the vehicle.

Domino's Pizza used the newly designed Party Car for a pizza-sharing event at a military base in Goyang in September, and on Thursday it participated in a Hangul Day event to distribute pizzas. The company plans to expand both its offline customer outreach and corporate social responsibility activities going forward.

"The Party Car is Domino's Pizza's sharing platform for delivering warmth and comfort through pizza," a company official said. "Through a friendlier and brighter Party Car, we will bring joy and inspiration to local communities and neighbors."
