Burger King will launch the Black Truffle Cheese Burger, a new product featuring black truffle, on Wednesday.
The product was developed to cater to consumers who prefer a rich truffle flavor. It incorporates a truffle bun, truffle cheese and truffle sauce to deliver the ingredient's distinctive aroma. A flame-grilled Whopper patty and grilled mushrooms add depth of flavor, while a soft-boiled egg contributes a smooth texture and savory taste.
The burger's appearance also sets it apart, with a black bun evoking the look of black truffle. The yellow soft-boiled egg and grilled mushrooms are arranged to showcase each ingredient at a glance.
The product will be available for a limited time through Jan. 5, 2027. It is priced at 10,700 won ($8) for the burger alone and 12,900 won for the set.
"This new product reflects consumer feedback gathered through surveys confirming a preference for truffle flavor," a Burger King official said. "A key feature is that it lets customers enjoy both the distinctive aroma of truffle and the flavor of a flame-grilled patty together."
