An influencer who reportedly bore Elon Musk's 13th child said she was offered more than 50 billion won ($37.4 million) by Musk's representatives in exchange for a lifetime vow of silence.
Former conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair told The New York Times in a recent interview that she was offered a nondisclosure agreement worth $40 million and disclosed the specific terms of the proposed contract.
St. Clair was working at conservative news site The Babylon Bee in 2023 when she began a public presence on Twitter and first came into contact with Musk. He followed her on the platform and reached out via direct message.
The two met for the first time through an interview at The Babylon Bee. After the interview, Musk reportedly asked her, "Do you want to go to Providence, Rhode Island?" — an invitation she took as a date proposal.
The two stayed in touch and in 2024 had a son, Romulus. Musk reportedly told her, "You need to have at least 10 kids. Let's have one together."
Musk's side approached her with the NDA offer two months after the birth. Jared Birchall, Musk's money manager, reportedly sent the contract through a disappearing-message feature on a messaging app.
The contract offered a lump sum of $15 million plus $100,000 a month for 21 years. The terms barred her from speaking about anything related to her relationship with Musk — a restriction that would also bind her heirs.
When St. Clair refused to sign, Birchall reportedly told her, "It sounds like you want to use your voice as a weapon." St. Clair said she replied, "The dignity of children is not a product to be traded."
Musk has denied ever making the offer. He pushed back on X, writing, "I never made her such an offer."
Meanwhile, Musk has 14 children in total. He has five sons with his ex-wife Justine Wilson, two sons and a daughter with Canadian singer Grimes, and four children with Shivon Zilis.
