Lunch service for elderly residents in the local community
"We will continue volunteering in ways that make a real difference"
Trinity Airways said Monday that employees from its in-house volunteer club, Shim Bongsa, visited the Magok Senior Welfare Center in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, on Oct. 12 to serve lunch to elderly residents.
The activity was organized to give back to the Magok community in Gangseo-gu, where Trinity Airways' offices are located, and to share warm meals and companionship with local seniors.
Participating employees helped serve food, clear trays and tidy the dining area at the welfare center's senior restaurant.
Club members plan to return to the Magok Senior Welfare Center on Oct. 30 for another round of meal service, and the group intends to continue a range of community activities aimed at providing practical support to local residents.
Founded in 2018, Shim Bongsa is run entirely by Trinity Airways employees on a voluntary basis. Over the years it has carried out a variety of community service activities, including volunteering at orphanages, selling fish-shaped pastries for charity and painting murals in collaboration with firefighters.
"It was a meaningful experience to exchange warm words and share our hearts with the elderly residents in the neighborhood," a Trinity Airways official said. "We will keep working alongside our employees to carry out diverse volunteer activities that make a real, practical difference in the community."
Meanwhile, Trinity Airways has been stepping up customer service as part of its Selective Service Carrier (SSC) business model, recently introducing complimentary water and beverages for all passengers on every international route and diversifying its in-flight meal options.
The SSC model focuses on selectively enhancing the services customers need based on route characteristics and travel purpose, rather than offering a uniform set of services to all passengers.
