ILLIT's Iroha injures ankle during concert rehearsal

ILLIT member Iroha suffered an ankle injury during a concert rehearsal.

The group's agency, Belift Lab, said in an official statement Sunday that Iroha sustained an ankle sprain during a rehearsal held that day and received medical attention.

Belift Lab said Iroha has expressed a strong desire to participate in all scheduled performances, but added that the agency plans to manage her stage participation flexibly, with the artist's health and recovery as its top priority.

"If symptoms arise during the concert, her participation in certain performances may be limited to protect the artist," the agency said. "We ask for fans' understanding, and we will do our utmost to help the artist recover."

ILLIT is holding its concert "PRESS START ENCORE in KOREA" at Inspire Arena in Incheon on Saturday and Sunday.

The group is set to release its fifth mini-album, "BREAK EVEN," on Oct. 26.
