Small businesses offered sales opportunity after 8 weeks of training and consulting
Coupang Inc said it is running a "Digital Jump-Up Mutual Growth Sale" from Monday through Oct. 31 to help local small businesses expand their online sales channels.
A total of 76 small businesses that completed the Digital Jump-Up Academy training and consulting program are participating in the sale. Over the past eight weeks, Coupang Inc provided hands-on training covering AI applications, product planning and registration, online sales and digital marketing strategies, and product content improvement. Participants also received customized consulting from Coupang Inc brand managers.
Square Food Lab, based in Iksan, North Jeolla Province, used one-on-one consulting to identify its key selling points and revamp the design and information layout of its product detail pages. Jeongseonggitdeun, a Busan-based seller of natural seasonings, flavored soy sauce and broth products, used the training to expand from offline-focused sales into online channels.
"It is meaningful not just to provide education, but to support local small businesses in gaining real online sales experience and translating that into expanded sales channels and revenue growth," a Coupang Inc corporate social responsibility official said. "We will continue to help local small businesses grow in the online market."
