District is only Seoul borough to achieve top rating three years running in nationwide assessment of 228 agencies
Eunpyeong-gu's family center received an A rating in the 2026 evaluation of child-care service providers, the district said.
The child-care support program is a government initiative that dispatches caregivers to households where parents — typically both working — cannot provide continuous care for their children, easing the burden on parents and ensuring a stable caregiving environment.
The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family conducts an annual assessment of child-care service providers nationwide. This year, 228 agencies were evaluated across four areas: service outcomes, service delivery performance, caregiver staffing and agency operations.
Eunpyeong-gu earned the A rating on the strength of high user satisfaction scores and strong service quality management, making it the only borough in Seoul to achieve an A rating for three consecutive years.
Building on the results, the district plans to work with the Eunpyeong Family Center to strengthen caregiver competencies and raise service quality, while partnering with the local community to create a child-care environment that parents can trust.
"This achievement reflects our consistent efforts to build a caregiving environment where parents can leave their children with peace of mind," Eunpyeong-gu District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung said. "We will continue supporting families to reduce care gaps and ease the burden on parents."
