Woo Seo-yun (22), the daughter of basketball player Woo Ji-won and the Miss Korea Jin titleholder who drew plastic surgery controversy after her selection, has revealed she underwent a procedure to reshape her teeth.
"A lot of people have been asking about my teeth lately, so I wanted to share," Woo wrote on her social media account Tuesday. "I had my tooth shape improved this time. It's the most satisfying procedure I've ever had done."
"Before, I used to feel self-conscious about my teeth when I smiled, but now I can smile confidently anywhere," she said. "I also liked that it was possible to preserve my natural teeth as much as possible while selectively improving only what was needed. Most of all, I loved how natural the result looks — it blends in just like my original teeth."
In her post, Woo encouraged followers to leave a specific keyword in the comments, promising to share more details with those who did.
Woo is the daughter of Woo Ji-won, a former basketball player widely known for his looks, and won the top Jin title at the 70th Miss Korea pageant held last August.
She was soon engulfed in plastic surgery controversy, with critics saying her appearance looked markedly different from when she had appeared on a television entertainment program in the past.
