US stocks closed higher Wednesday (local time), lifted by strong quarterly earnings from SpaceX and other major companies.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 360.21 points, or 0.69 percent, to close at 52,856.09. The S&P 500 rose 44.60 points, or 0.58 percent, to 7,757.17, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite climbed 278.04 points, or 1.05 percent, to 26,702.86.
Investor sentiment toward AI-related stocks improved after SpaceX, the space company led by Elon Musk, posted quarterly earnings that beat market expectations. SpaceX shares surged nearly 8 percent on the day.
