Tesla posts $28.05b in Q3 sales, topping market estimates

Tesla, Elon Musk's electric vehicle company, reported third-quarter sales of $28.05 billion on Wednesday (local time), edging past the $27.9 billion median analyst estimate compiled by market research firm London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG).

Earnings per share also came in at 48 cents, above the market consensus of 43 cents.
