Company says product contains 17 mixed lactic acid bacteria strains and zinc
Joa Pharmaceutical has launched a new health supplement, Daily Probiotics Immune, designed to support gut health and normal immune function.
Each capsule delivers 10 billion CFU (colony-forming units) of probiotics and contains a blend of 17 mixed lactic acid bacteria strains along with zinc. The product uses a patented strain (L. acidophilus LA-14) from DuPont Danisco, a probiotics ingredient company backed by 35 human clinical trial datasets. The strain offers strong resistance to acid and bile, giving it high survivability in the gut, where it inhibits the growth of harmful bacteria over an extended period.
Manufactured by US Pharmatech, a US-based health supplement manufacturer, the product uses individual alu-alu packaging to shield live bacteria from light, air and moisture. Joa Pharmaceutical said the formulation combines lactic acid bacteria with their food source as well as metabolites and dead cell bodies, achieving what it calls a "fifth-generation probiotic." Each pack is sized for roughly four months of daily single-capsule use.
"It can offer a new option for those who want to manage both gut health and normal immune function at the same time," a company official said.
