Apple's first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, officially went on sale in South Korea on Friday.
LG Uplus said it will offer pre-order customers benefits worth up to 1 million won ($755) or more, provided they meet certain conditions such as number porting or signing up for its Nugget 65 plan. The carrier will also introduce an early return program that reimburses up to 70 percent of the device's retail price when customers return their handset starting six months after activation.
LG Uplus plans to expand its hands-on experience locations where visitors can try out the iPhone Duo in person, placing demo units at 18 stores in major commercial districts including Gangnam and Hongdae.
