Lotte heads to Vietnam campuses to recruit local talent

Lotte held its "2026 Lotte Global Campus Recruiting in Vietnam" event at five universities in Hanoi from Oct. 21 to Oct. 23.

Lotte selected the five schools — including Vietnam National University and Hanoi University of Science and Technology — based on its affiliates' hiring needs. More than 3,000 job seekers attended, drawing strong interest in the event.

The event featured recruitment booths offering career counseling and one-on-one mock interviews, as well as information sessions combining introductions to the group and its affiliates.

Six affiliates operating in Vietnam — Lotte Department Store, Lotte Hotels & Resorts, Lotte World, Lotte Innovate, Lotte E&C and Daehong Communications — took part, with current employees sharing their hiring experiences and tips.

More than 10,000 local employees currently work for Lotte in Vietnam. The group plans to hire around 500 people this year, a 20 percent increase from last year, and has been running large-scale hiring events — the "Global Job Fair" and "Global Campus Recruiting" — since last year to meet that target. Lotte also plans to continue recruitment events in Indonesia, another key market.
