16 qualifiers and 3 invited players to compete for 15 million won purse
Golfzon announced Monday that it will co-host the Srixon ZXi RKT Long Drive Match final with Srixon at Golfzon Joimaru in Daejeon on Friday.
The event, organized by Golfzon and sponsored by Srixon, carries a total purse of 15 million won ($11,300). A total of 19 players will compete in the final — the top 16 qualifiers by driving distance from the online qualifying rounds held Oct. 2–18, plus three invited players.
The three invited players are Team Srixon professionals Kim Jun-nyeon, Lee Yong-hee and Shin Ji-eun. Lee is active on the Golfzon G Tour, while Shin has won multiple long-drive competitions.
All rounds will be played using Srixon's ZXi RKT driver. The round of 19, beginning at 2 p.m. Friday, gives each player up to eight shots within a three-minute window, with the top eight advancing. The quarterfinals, semifinals and final follow from 6 p.m., with head-to-head matchplay format from the quarterfinals onward.
The winner receives 5 million won and a Srixon ZXi RKT driver. The runner-up takes home 3 million won, and both third-place finishers receive 1.5 million won each. Golfzon will livestream every match from the round of 19 through the final on its official YouTube channel.
