Making debut at aviation and defense logistics expo
Deepnoid, a medical AI company, is expanding its AI-powered hazardous-item detection solution into the defense sector.
The company plans to showcase its AI security solution Skymarou Deep Security at the Aviation and Defense Logistics Exhibition (GADLEX 2026), set to run Wednesday through Friday at the Gumi Convention Center in North Gyeongsang Province.
The solution detects hazardous items with high accuracy at security facilities including airports, seaports, passenger terminals and border crossings. It performs real-time detection of 20 categories of dangerous goods — including firearms, ammunition, explosives and bladed weapons — as well as six types of information-security threats such as USB drives and external storage devices, supporting security workflow operations. The system is also compatible with X-ray screening equipment from major manufacturers, allowing integrated operation without replacing existing security infrastructure.
Deepnoid will also introduce two additional features: an integrated control function that allows a central management system to oversee security operations across multiple sites, and a recheck function that instantly shares X-ray scan results with baggage-opening inspectors stationed downstream on the screening line.
"We expect this to serve as an opportunity for our security AI technology to expand its reach beyond aviation security and into the defense sector," the company said.
