Johnnie Walker, Diageo's world's top-selling Scotch whisky brand, announced Monday that it has named global pop artist Rosé as its brand partner.
Johnnie Walker Global Brand Director Neil Shah said Rosé's selection reflected a natural alignment with the brand's identity. "Rosé's ambition and self-expression connect with the values behind 'Keep Walking,'" he said.
The brand will roll out a global campaign celebrating Rosé's creativity and artistry across South Korea, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, China and other markets. Rosé has previously received a Grammy Award nomination.
On Monday, Rosé unveiled her signature cocktail, "Twist of Something Highball," made with Johnnie Walker Black, at a brand event held at BAR 81 in Signiel Seoul.
The cocktail will be available at BAR 81 and will roll out sequentially to other Seoul venues, including Hills & Europa, Bar Lion, Compact Record Bar and 232 Bar — all either "Asia's 50 Best Bars" locations or World Class Korea champion stores.
