Hotel Shilla properties win top honors at global hotel awards

Hotel Shilla announced Tuesday that Jeju Shilla Hotel and Shilla Monogram Gangneung have each received a Platinum Winner award — the highest rating — at the MUSE Hotel Awards, a global hotel awards program.

The MUSE Hotel Awards is organized by the International Awards Associate and evaluates hotels on design, service and customer experience. Entries are assessed through a blind review by a panel of international hotel and hospitality experts and recognized at the platinum, gold and silver levels.

Jeju Shilla Hotel won in the Seaside Hotel category, while Shilla Monogram Gangneung claimed the top honor in the Coastal Hotel category. The two properties were the only hotels in South Korea to receive a Platinum Winner designation this year.

Jeju Shilla Hotel was recognized for its resort experience set against Jeju's coastal scenery, which includes year-round outdoor heated pools, leisure programs and dining offerings. Shilla Monogram Gangneung was honored for its oceanfront setting on the East Sea and a hotel experience that reflects the distinct character of the Gangneung region.

"We will continue to enhance customer satisfaction through content that draws on the unique appeal of each destination and through high-quality service."
