SK hynix posts record quarterly operating profit of W83.3tr

SK hynix posted an operating profit of 83.33 trillion won ($63 billion) in the third quarter, the highest quarterly result in the company's history — up 38 percent from the 60.54 trillion won recorded in the second quarter.

Sales also hit a new quarterly record of 104.62 trillion won, up 32 percent from the previous high of 79.32 trillion won set in the second quarter.

For the first three quarters combined, SK hynix logged cumulative sales of 236.51 trillion won and an operating profit of 181.49 trillion won.
