LG Electronics' Cordless Objet Collection A9 AI
LG Electronics has launched the Cordless Objet Collection A9 AI, a new cordless vacuum that uses AI technology to address two longstanding problems: battery management and ease of use.
At the heart of the product is what LG calls the "AI Inverter," which combines the company's proprietary component technology with artificial intelligence. The system analyzes a user's cleaning patterns and remaining battery level in real time, automatically adjusting suction power to deliver an uninterrupted cleaning experience. LG said the feature directly targets the frustration of running out of battery before finishing a cleaning session, describing it as the technological essence of intelligent control layered on top of core appliance performance.
The vacuum also features a user-centered smart management system. When paired with the LG ThinQ app, the device provides real-time diagnostics on malfunctions and battery health. An LCD display on the body lets users check when the battery needs replacing, reducing the need for service center visits. LG also improved the angle of the LED light that illuminates dark crevices and carried over the "Auto Stop & Go" function, which pauses the vacuum when set down on the floor — refinements the company said reflect close attention to real-world usage.
On the hardware side, the A9 AI delivers 320 watts of suction power while weighing just 2.54 kilograms, making it the lightest in its class and minimizing wrist strain. LG also offers a subscription-based disassembly and deep-cleaning service — exclusive to the brand in the industry — in which technicians remove dust and mold from inside the unit, promising customers like-new performance and cleanliness over time.
"By combining powerful AI core technology with attentive care services, we are cementing our position as an innovative cleaning solution brand that goes beyond a simple household tool to enrich customers' lives," LG Electronics said.
