Experts with backgrounds as HR directors at major firms to lead sessions
Gachon University's Career Plus Center is running a one-on-one intensive mock interview program for graduates and soon-to-graduate students preparing for major conglomerate hiring in the second half of 2026.
The program was designed to sharpen participants' interview skills and help them secure final offers, with a focus on the characteristics of second-half recruitment cycles at large companies. Priority selection goes to applicants who have sat written exams at Samsung Group and other major firms, with the program offering tailored strategies for both job-competency and personality interviews.
The mock interviews, which began Tuesday, continue Thursday at the Career Plus Center's counseling room on campus. Recruitment specialists who previously served as HR directors at major conglomerates act as interviewers, conducting 20 individual 30-minute one-on-one simulation sessions in total.
Participants are assessed in a setting that closely mirrors an actual interview, with evaluators examining response delivery, nonverbal communication, job-related expertise and organizational fit. Personalized feedback tailored to each applicant's target company and role also helps them refine their answers and sharpen their readiness for the real thing.
