Jungheung Group has launched executive-led safety inspections at major construction sites ahead of the winter season.

The group announced Friday that Jungheung Engineering & Construction CEO Kim Hae-geun and Jungheung Construction CEO Lee Kyung-ho each visited key worksites to review compliance with occupational health and safety management systems and assess on-site safety conditions.

Kim visited the Yangju Station Jungheung S-Class construction site in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province, on Tuesday, examining hazard factors and the status of safety and health management on site.

Following the inspection, Kim held a meeting with site staff to hear their concerns. Kim said improvements to the working environment that workers can actually feel are necessary, going beyond mere compliance with legal standards.

Lee also visited the urban development complex construction site in the Gongnim district of Seosan, South Chungcheong Province, on Wednesday, checking safety and health activities and compliance with management systems.

Jungheung Group said it plans to continue executive-led site inspections and staff communication to raise safety management standards at construction sites ahead of winter.

"The importance of on-site safety management is growing as winter approaches," a Jungheung Group official said. "We will continue executive-led safety inspections and communication with site staff to build accident-free construction sites."
