Hellinox Wear to design and supply uniforms for event staff
The organizing committee for the 2027 Chungcheong Universiade announced Thursday that it has signed an official sponsorship agreement with Kolon Industries' FnC division to design and supply uniforms for event staff.
Under the agreement, Kolon FnC will participate as an official sponsor through its outdoor apparel brand Hellinox Wear, handling everything from design to production and supply of uniforms for approximately 26,000 people — including organizing committee staff, volunteers, competition operations personnel and technical officials.
The uniforms will be produced in several categories — sportswear, formal wear and specialized gear — tailored to different work roles and on-site conditions. Kolon FnC operates Hellinox Wear under a licensing agreement with Hellinox for its apparel business.
"Drawing on Hellinox Wear's brand value and accumulated expertise, we will present uniforms that reflect the identity of the games while prioritizing the mobility and comfort of on-site staff," a Kolon FnC official said.
The 2027 Chungcheong Universiade will be held across Daejeon, Sejong, North Chungcheong Province and South Chungcheong Province from Aug. 1 to Aug. 12, 2027. About 15,000 participants from more than 150 countries are expected to compete across 18 sports.
