The Korea Racing Authority visited the Marine Corps 2nd Division on Wednesday to encourage troops and present a consolation fund of 10 million won ($7,460), the organization announced Thursday.
Executives and staff from the Korea Racing Authority took part in the visit, checking on the troops' service conditions and expressing gratitude for their dedication. They also attended a security education session at the base and toured key facilities.
The Korea Racing Authority has donated 10 million won annually since 2022 as part of its corporate social responsibility efforts in support of military personnel.
"We extend our deepest gratitude and respect to the soldiers who quietly devote themselves to national security," Korea Racing Authority Chairman Woo Hui-jong said. "We hope this consolation fund offers a small measure of encouragement and strength to the troops."
