LS Mtron hosts children's day at Jeonju factory to foster family-friendly culture

LS Mtron announced Monday that it recently hosted a children's invitation event at its Jeonju factory in Wanju County, North Jeolla Province.

The event was designed to help employees' children better understand where their parents work and take pride in the company. More than 130 employees and family members took part in a range of programs throughout the day.

Participants toured the company's PR hall and tractor exhibition as well as the factory production line, getting a firsthand look at LS Mtron's core projects and advanced technologies. Family members walked through the areas where employees actually work, gaining a clearer picture of the company's vision and day-to-day operations.

After the tours, the event continued with hands-on activities including mini soccer and ring toss, a quiz session with prizes, and a magic performance.

"Children are the vitamins of happiness and the driving force in our employees' lives," said President and CEO Shin Jae-ho. "We will continue to support work-life balance and build a family-friendly corporate culture where both employees and their families can thrive."

LS Mtron was recognized in 2025 as a leading family-friendly company for its efforts to promote work-family balance.

Meanwhile, LS Mtron is LS Group's industrial machinery and advanced components arm, producing tractors and military vehicle tracks. Its consolidated order backlog stood at 454.6 billion won (about $302 million) at the end of the first quarter this year.
