Mother and son found dead at Busan apartment; police investigate

A mother and her son were found dead at an apartment complex in Busan's Haeundae-gu, prompting a police investigation into the circumstances.

A resident found a woman in her 50s, identified as A, dead in a flower bed at the complex at around 7:44 a.m. Wednesday and called police, according to Yonhap News Agency.

A man in his 20s, identified as B, was subsequently found in a nearby flower bed, apparently having fallen. He was taken to a hospital but died shortly after.

Police said A and B were mother and son.

Authorities are working to determine the exact circumstances based on witness accounts and conditions at the scene.
