No Brand Burger opens first Jeju store, plans 5-6 more this year

No Brand Burger has opened its Shin-Jeju store in Nohyeong-dong, Jeju, the chain announced Thursday.

The store spans roughly 198 square meters and seats 83 customers. Nohyeong-dong is one of Jeju's busiest commercial districts, known for its dense mix of retail and foot traffic. Shinsegae Food plans to open five to six additional stores on the island this year.

Meanwhile, burgers have been gaining traction as a value-for-money option amid high prices. Franchise inquiry consultations for No Brand Burger rose 153 percent through May compared with the same period last year, and the number of new franchise locations increased 107 percent.

"We will continue to expand our reach through location strategies tailored to each region's commercial characteristics and an efficient franchise model," a No Brand Burger official said.
