The Daejeon-myeon Festival Committee in Damyang-gun will hold the 2nd Daejeon-myeon Hanjae Valley Arboretum Festival on June 13, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., across the Hanjae Valley area.
The festival is designed to bring together local residents and tourists to enjoy the natural surroundings of Hanjae Valley and strengthen community bonds.
The event will feature performances by invited singers Seo Ji-o, Kim San-ok and Jeon Gi-ho, along with a residents' singing contest and other stage programs.
Hands-on activities for families will also be available, including handmade stamp crafting, bamboo water gun making and traditional rice cake pounding.
Alongside this, stalls selling local agricultural specialties and a food area will be set up to give visitors a full range of things to enjoy.
"We hope visitors will come to Hanjae Valley on a relaxed weekend and soak up the festival amid nature," said Jeong Seong-il, the festival committee chair. "We will do our best to ensure it is a safe and enjoyable event."
