Broadcaster Hong Seok-cheon has warned against drug use at gay group parties.
On Friday, Hong posted a message on his social media account saying, "I clearly told you not to do this," alongside a photo.
The photo referenced a report about a gay group drug party at a hotel in Kuala Lumpur, in which one person died of an overdose and 51 others were arrested.
In response, Hong urged his followers: "Hey, wake up. Absolutely no drugs!! Stay safe when you go out."
He also weighed in on research claiming that "accepting homosexuality leads to an unhappy life," writing, "There's no hope when an ignorant person acts brave."
Hong is the first South Korean celebrity to have publicly come out.
