Coupang Inc Fulfillment Services signs MOU with Inha Technical College to train logistics workers

Coupang Inc Fulfillment Services (CFS) has teamed up with Inha Technical College to train logistics talent.

According to Coupang Inc, the two sides signed an MOU on "developing logistics technology talent and expanding regional employment" at the college in Michuhol-gu, Incheon on June 5.

The agreement aims to build an industry-academia cooperation model that links education directly to hiring — training technically skilled workers ready for immediate deployment at logistics sites and expanding recruitment over time.

The two partners will develop hands-on technical talent through practical training on forklifts and order pickers — elevated logistics equipment used for high-rack operations. Training will run intensively during the summer break, and graduates will be placed at Coupang Inc logistics sites on a rolling basis.

Inha Technical College hosts a forklift practical examination center operated by the Human Resources Development Service of Korea and is equipped with training infrastructure that closely mirrors real warehouse conditions, including sit-down forklifts, order pickers and rack systems.

CFS will also run a "fast track" program open to current students regardless of major, giving them hands-on experience in logistics operations. High-performing participants will be eligible for early hiring.

Meanwhile, CFS will hold a "CFS Hiring Festa" at Inha Technical College on June 23, offering prospective employees a range of work arrangements including three-day weeks, weekend shifts and short-hour schedules.

"We have laid the groundwork not only for cultivating field-ready technical talent but also for securing promising university students early," said Park Soo-hyun, CFS chief human resources officer.
