Hyundai Motor to hire assembly, R&D technical workers for second-half deployment

Hyundai Motor Co announced Monday it will recruit mobility technology workers with diverse skills and expertise in the second half of the year as the automaker prepares for the shift to future mobility.

The hiring drive will cover two areas: vehicle assembly at domestic automobile production factories and research and development technology.

Applications will be accepted for 10 days, from June 15 to June 24, through the company's recruitment website. The selection process will proceed in four stages: document screening results and aptitude testing in July, first-round interviews in August, final interviews and medical examinations in September, and announcement of final successful candidates in October or November.

Detailed requirements for each recruitment category will be available on Hyundai Motor's recruitment website during the application period. Applicants must hold a high school diploma or higher; there are no age or gender restrictions, though male applicants must have completed or been exempted from military service.

Candidates selected for the vehicle production division will be assigned to domestic production factories in two batches, in November and December. Those selected for the R&D technology division will be placed at the Namyang and Uiwang research centers in November.

"We hope many people will take an interest in this mobility technical workforce recruitment," a Hyundai Motor official said. "We plan to conduct the hiring process in a fair and transparent manner."

Meanwhile, Hyundai Motor has been actively expanding its workforce to drive sustainable growth and create quality jobs. In April, the company ran a mid-career hiring campaign across four areas: software-defined factory, manufacturing AI, manufacturing robotics and manufacturing logistics intelligence.
