Park Kwon-hyun launches transition committee ahead of taking office as Cheongdo-gun chief

Park Kwon-hyun, chief executive-elect of Cheongdo-gun, held a launch ceremony Monday for his transition committee at the county's agricultural technology center.

The committee is chaired by Park Jong-gyu, a former head of the county's planning division, and comprises 15 members drawn from various sectors.

The committee will work to establish a systematic vision and policy direction for county administration, reviewing Park's campaign pledges, key administrative issues, and tasks related to the county's organizational structure, budget and regional development. It will also support a smooth handover of county governance.

"Centered on the transition committee, we will review all aspects of county administration and build a great Cheongdo through communication and empathy — so that every resident can feel the change," Park said.
