Kim Yong-pan launches transition committee ahead of Dalseo-gu district chief post

The transition committee for Kim Yong-pan, district chief-elect of Daegu's Dalseo-gu, held its inaugural ceremony Monday at the second-floor conference room of the Wolseong 1-dong Community Service Center, marking the start of its official activities ahead of the ninth directly elected term.

The ceremony was attended by Kim, transition committee chair Hong Gyeong-ho, 15 committee members, 24 advisory members and relevant civil servants.

The event opened with an unveiling of the committee's nameplate, followed by the presentation of appointment certificates to committee and advisory members and the body's first working session.

"The transition committee is an important starting point for charting the direction of Dalseo-gu's ninth elected administration," Kim said. "We will carefully review the campaign pledges made to residents and translate them into actionable policies that deliver tangible change and progress."
