Lotte department stores, outlets in Daegu to hold early-summer vacation festival

Lotte department stores and outlets in Daegu will hold an "Early Summer Vacation Festa" ahead of the summer holiday season.

The Daegu and Sangin branches of Lotte Department Store, along with Lotte Outlet's Isiapollis and Yulha locations, will run the weeklong event from June 12 through June 18.

At Lotte Department Store's Daegu branch, a best-of-first-half product showcase featuring local women's designer brands Choi Bok-ho and Megis will be held at a special event space on the second below-ground floor. The Sangin branch will host a flat-price sale for Spao at its first below-ground floor event space.

A premium brand season-off sale will also be on offer. Club Monaco, Tommy Hilfiger and System are already participating, with Lacoste joining from June 12 to expand summer clothing options.

Lotte Outlet's Isiapollis branch will host a pop-up store by "Yeosu Unni" — a dessert-focused social media influencer with 630,000 subscribers — at the first-floor central plaza from June 12 through June 14. Featured items will include cloud cream rice cake and chocolate fondant.

A special K2 exhibition will run concurrently at a first-floor event space during the same period.

At the Yulha branch, a vacation clothing showcase featuring Polham and Project M will be held at a first-floor event space, offering summer apparel for families at affordable prices.

"We have planned distinctive content spanning fashion to gourmet food so customers can prepare for the upcoming summer vacation in a smart and fulfilling way," said Yoo Hyeon-gwon, store manager of Lotte Department Store's Daegu branch. "We hope this joint event, combining the strengths of both the department store and outlets, will give local customers a special early-summer experience."
