Zigzag's beauty incubating program drives up to 14,000% sales surge for partner brands

Zigzag, operated by Kakao Style, said Thursday that its "2026 Beauty Brand Incubating Program," launched in January, has driven significant sales growth and raised brand awareness among participating companies.

Comparing the three months from March through May against the three months before the program began — October through December 2025 — combined transaction volume across six key brands rose roughly 20 percent.

Brand Unleashia posted the sharpest gains, with transaction volume surging 14,096 percent over the same period, hitting a record high in April. Moret and Hustler also recorded transaction growth of 1,551 percent and 846 percent, respectively. Lagom and Mintree, which joined Zigzag in earnest this year, have also shown steady growth.

The results stem from close support by Zigzag combined with the brands' own efforts to expand their sales channels. Alternative Stereo took part in four themed promotional events this year, while other participating brands each joined at least one, broadening their exposure.

Zigzag currently runs an "Incubating Brand Showcase" during the third week of every month. In March, it also participated in the offline event "2026 Seoul Indie Beauty Show" through an integrated beauty pavilion booth, introducing the program's brands to in-person shoppers.

Zigzag plans to continue supporting indie beauty brands in the second half of the year, moving beyond consulting and promotional exposure to focus on scaling up through influencer collaborations and similar initiatives.
