Ulsan to host 2026 job fair with 100 companies

The 2026 Ulsan Job Fair opens Wednesday morning at Munsu Gymnasium, with organizers hoping the event will energize the local employment market and ease hiring and job-search difficulties.

Ulsan City, IBK, the Ministry of Employment and Labor's Ulsan branch, the Ulsan Regional Office of Small and Medium Venture Business, and the city's five districts and counties are co-hosting the fair. The Ulsan Economic Promotion Agency, the Human Resources Development Service of Korea, the Korea Student Aid Foundation and the Ulsan Chamber of Commerce and Industry are co-organizing the event.

A total of 100 local companies — 65 participating on-site and 35 online — plan to conduct one-on-one interviews and hire up to 590 people. Firms span a wide range of industries, including the region's core sectors of automotive, shipbuilding and petrochemical, as well as services and healthcare, offering job seekers broad employment opportunities.

Side events designed to strengthen job seekers' employability and morale will also be held, including an Ulsan-style AI matching service, a job consulting program, a future industry developer exhibition and a job concert focused on Ulsan's key and emerging industries.

"We hope this event gives job seekers access to quality positions that match their skills and aptitude, while helping companies address their hiring challenges," a city official said, encouraging wide participation.
