Hwasan-dong in Hwaseong held the 18th Hwasan-dong Filial Piety Culture Festival on June 13 at the plaza of the Hwaseong Workers' General Welfare Center, the district announced Monday.
Organized by the Hwasan-dong Residents' Autonomy Council, the festival was designed to honor the area's traditional culture of filial piety and foster harmony across generations. Performances, hands-on activities and community sharing programs ran from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
About 1,000 local residents took part.
