Gyeongbuk Health University in Gimcheon, North Gyeongsang Province, held the third session of its "2026 Essential Employment Lecture Series for Nursing Students" on Friday, targeting first-year nursing students.
The online lecture, conducted via Zoom, was designed to help students build systematic career plans and strengthen their job-readiness skills.
Han Dong-su, CEO of Nurse Research Institute, served as the guest lecturer, presenting on the theme "Essential Career Roadmap Design — What First-Year Students Must Do Now."
Han covered nursing hiring trends, extracurricular activities to pursue during university, academic management strategies and self-development approaches. He offered students a framework for setting early career goals and preparing for them in a structured way.
"We plan to continue supporting students as they design their career paths and build their employment skills," university President Lee Eun-jik said.
