Daegu's Nam-gu to host 2026 Daegu Apsan Coffee Festival on July 4-5

Daegu's Nam-gu district will host the 2026 Daegu Apsan Coffee Festival at the Nam-gu Citizens' Sports Plaza on July 4-5, the district announced Monday.

This year's festival will feature a range of programs, including keychain and drip-bag making using spent coffee grounds, latte art and hand-drip experiences, and a talk concert with representatives from leading coffee houses.

To make coffee more accessible for visitors, all participating vendors will sell Americanos for 2,500 won. Customers who bring their own tumblers will receive a 500-won discount.

The Daegu Southern Branch of the Korea Confectionery Association will also sell freshly baked bread at affordable prices, adding to the food and entertainment offerings at the festival.

"I hope the Apsan Coffee Festival serves as an opportunity to showcase Nam-gu's charming attractions, including the Apsan cafe street and Anjirang tripe alley," Nam-gu District Chief Jo Jae-gu said.
