HS Hwasung announced Wednesday that it has secured back-to-back contracts to build a relocated securities museum in Seoul and a science experience complex at the National Science Museum in Daejeon.
The securities museum will be built in Jingwan-dong, Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, with a total floor area of about 6,500 square meters across two below-ground floors and four above-ground floors.
The total contract value is 21.35 billion won ($13.9 million).
HS Hwasung holds a 100 percent stake in the project, with ground-breaking set for July and completion targeted for April 2028.
The science experience complex will be built on the grounds of the National Science Museum in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, with a total floor area of about 10,000 square meters across one below-ground floor and two above-ground floors.
The total awarded contract value is 20.7 billion won, with HS Hwasung holding a 70 percent stake and carrying out 14.5 billion won worth of the work.
"These wins again demonstrate our technology and project execution capabilities in the cultural and exhibition facility sector," said Jung Seung-woo, head of HS Hwasung's architectural estimation team. "Drawing on our accumulated construction experience, we will build outstanding facilities that put quality and safety first, creating spaces that fully satisfy both clients and visitors."
