South Jeolla Province and Gwangju will launch a temporary integrated website to coincide with the official establishment of the Jeonnam-Gwangju Special City on Tuesday.
The temporary site will serve as an online information portal giving residents quick access to key administrative information in the early days of the newly merged city. It will feature sections covering city news, public participation, electronic civil services, information disclosure, introductions to the South Jeolla and Gwangju regions, and the integrated mayor's office.
The existing websites of Gwangju and South Jeolla Province will continue to operate to minimize confusion and inconvenience for residents during the transition period.
