HS Hwaseong volunteers repair homes for vulnerable residents in Daegu

HS Hwaseong's Hwaseong Volunteer Corps carried out a home-repair project for low-income households in the Dasa-eup area of Dalseong-gun, Daegu, the company announced Sunday.

Volunteers visited the targeted households that day, replacing damaged and soiled wallpaper and flooring and cleaning the interiors.

The team focused particularly on reorganizing living spaces around daily movement patterns and sanitation, with attention to households that had struggled to maintain their homes over an extended period.

Kim Sang-heon, head of the Hwaseong Volunteer Corps, said the project carried special meaning as it coincided with Patriots and Veterans Month. "It was all the more meaningful to help improve the living conditions of those who dedicated themselves to the nation," he said. "We will continue to make practical contributions to improving the living conditions of neighbors in our community."
