Phone suspected of secret filming found in girls' bathroom at Busan high school, connected to portable battery

Police are investigating after a mobile phone suspected of being used for illegal filming was found in a girls' bathroom at a high school in Busan.

The Busan Gangseo Police Station said Monday that a report was filed at around 4:15 p.m. Friday indicating that a phone suspected of being a hidden camera had been found in a girls' bathroom at a Busan high school.

The phone had been installed inside the bathroom with a portable battery connected to it and was actively recording at the time of discovery, police said.

Police are investigating who placed the device there.
