Aekyung Industrial hosts 5th 'Happy Outing' event for people with developmental disabilities

Aekyung Industrial held its fifth annual "Happy Outing" cultural event for people with developmental disabilities on June 30 at Megabox Goyang Starfield.

Happy Outing is a corporate social responsibility program Aekyung Industrial has run since 2022 to expand access to cultural activities for people with developmental disabilities. This year marked its fifth edition.

A total of 691 people with developmental disabilities and their guardians from 35 welfare organizations in Seoul, Gyeonggi Province and Bucheon attended the event. Two films were screened across five sessions, with each title shown two to three times. All participants received gift sets made up of the company's household products.

"We will continue to find and carry out social contribution activities that expand cultural opportunities for marginalized groups and allow us to grow alongside local communities," an Aekyung Industrial official said.
