Actor Moon Chae-won has shared her first update since getting married.
On Wednesday, Moon posted a Buddhist saying on her social media: "Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck."
It was her first post since her wedding ceremony four days earlier, and she shared the quote without any additional explanation, drawing attention from fans.
Moon held a private wedding ceremony at an undisclosed venue in Seoul on June 28 with her non-celebrity partner.
Moon had announced the marriage herself in April through a handwritten letter, saying she was "nervous but excited at the thought of building a home and a life together," and that she planned "to be active in a wider variety of ways going forward."
Moon made her debut in 2007 in the SBS sitcom "Dallyeora Godeungeo" and has since appeared in numerous productions, including the drama series "Painter of the Wind," "Shining Inheritance," "The Innocent Man," "Good Doctor" and "Flower of Evil." Most recently, she starred alongside Kwon Sang-woo in "Heartman: Rock and Love," which opened in January.
