DGFEZ hosts networking night on sidelines of 2026 Mediexpo Korea

The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority (DGFEZ) held the "2026 DGFEZ-Mediexpo Networking Night" at EXCO East Hall on Thursday.

The event was organized in conjunction with the 2026 Mediexpo Korea, a leading integrated healthcare exhibition in South Korea. About 70 people attended, including exhibiting companies, business leaders in the medical and biotech sectors, university professors and representatives from related institutions.

The gathering brought together business leaders, academics and officials from related organizations to share information and experience and explore new opportunities for collaboration.

Participants exchanged views on technology cooperation, joint research and business linkage through open networking, and expressed high levels of satisfaction with the event.

DGFEZ expects the event to help expand its network of promising companies and experts in the medical and biotech fields and to strengthen the cooperative foundation for future investment attraction efforts.

Kim Hui-seok, head of the Daegu Innovation and Growth Division, said DGFEZ would continue to reinforce its role as a platform connecting industry, academia, research institutes and government to advance the regional medical and biotech ecosystem and drive greater investment.
