The 2026 Korea Drone & UAM Expo, a showcase of the future aviation industry spanning drones and urban air mobility, will be held at Songdo Convensia in Incheon from Wednesday to Aug. 3.
Co-hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and Incheon Metropolitan City, the sixth edition of the expo will feature industry exhibitions, an international conference, a drone light show, a drone soccer tournament and a UAM showcase, among other events.
On the opening morning, a public flight demonstration of the K-UAM sky taxi will offer visitors a firsthand look at how future mobility could transform emergency medical response, disaster relief and other public services.
The opening ceremony will feature a themed video depicting everyday life shaped by drones and UAM, presentations on drone and UAM promotion strategies, a VR drawing ceremony and a ceremonial kick-off for the international drone soccer tournament.
During the expo, a series of global conferences and working-level meetings will also take place — including a drone industry alliance general assembly, the 20th UAM Team Korea working group session, a UAM Olympiad technology seminar and a briefing on the fourth round of applications for drone special liberalization zones.
The exhibition hall at Songdo Convensia will bring together 137 companies and institutions, including Korean Air, Pablo Air, Uvify and Narma, as well as public institutions and local governments.
Hong Ji-seon, second vice minister of land, infrastructure and transport, said drones and UAM are "core technologies that will transform people's daily lives and open new possibilities for future industries," adding that visitors will be able to see and experience firsthand "the outstanding technological capabilities and achievements of Korea's drone and UAM industry."
